Guests Doug Benson and Peter Nickitas

On March 6, 2009, three same-sex couples walked into the office of the Hennepin County local registrar in Minneapolis and applied for marriage licenses. They were denied. They sued and lost in Trial Court. Now they are headed for the Appellate Court, and Minnesota Atheists has filed a friend-of-the-court brief on their behalf. Our guests will be Doug Benson, the lead plaintiff in the case, and Peter Nickitas, their lawyer.
